A woman went to watch a film with her family. She never came home. Now, nearly 18 months later, the actor whose arrival sparked the chaos has been summoned to face trial.
The teaser dropped on June 12, eight days before it was supposed to. By the same afternoon, Salman Khan's lawyers were in Delhi High Court seeking an urgent stay. The director has since said he will not stop.

The Delhi High Court's decision came in response to two petitions: one filed by the religious body Jamiat Ulema-i-Hind and the other by journalist Prashant Tandon.
This new chapter comes six years after the release of 'Dhadak' (2018), which starred Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter and was a remake of the Marathi film 'Sairat'.
The backlash in question stems from the fact that 'Sardaar Ji 3' stars Hania Amir, a Pakistani actress. This casting decision has drawn fierce criticism from certain sections of the public.
