According to industry tracker Sacnilk, ‘Dhurandhar’ is set to start streaming on Netflix from January 30. This comes nearly two months after its massive theatrical run.
So if you missed it in cinemas or just want to relive the action, Netflix is about to be very busy.
Here’s where the gossip gets really spicy. Netflix didn’t just buy the rights for ‘Dhurandhar’. The streaming giant has reportedly locked in both Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2 in a combined digital deal worth a staggering ₹130 crore.
This deal is being called one of the most expensive OTT agreements ever for a Hindi film franchise. It also marks a career-best digital milestone for Ranveer Singh.
While the first film gears up for its OTT release, the sequel is already building serious hype. ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is scheduled to hit theatres on March 19.
The sequel will dive deeper into Ranveer Singh’s transformation from Jaskirat Singh Rangi to Hamza Ali Mazari tracing his rise as the new king of Lyari.
Fans can also expect emotional flashbacks revealing the past of Akshaye Khanna’s character, Rehman Dakait.
