Sources reveal that the actor’s role in ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is limited to a few flashback sequences that were filmed during the first schedules.

“There is no additional filming happening with Akshaye at the moment,” a source told them. “His portions were wrapped earlier and are part of key flashback moments in the narrative.”

While Akshaye remains off-camera, the ‘Dhurandhar 2’ team is racing ahead in post-production. Director Aditya Dhar is reportedly at the editing desk, putting together a trailer that’s likely to drop by end of February.
“Aditya is sitting on the trailer edit. The idea is to deliver something impactful again,” an insider shared.
It’s not just visuals. Music is getting the same superstar treatment. Composer Shashwat Sachdev has started working on the background score ensuring every gunshot, chase, and intense stare hits the audience just right.
“Both sound and visuals are top priority,” the source added.
The countdown is officially on! ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is ready for a March 19, 2026 theatrical release. Given how first film smashed records, expectations are already sky-high.
