Celebrating World Food Day BnR Films has released an English documentary themed on agriculturehorticulture and farmers of Dangarbheja Nandahandi Block Nabarangpur Odisha on October 16.

Written and directed by Biswanath Rath lsquo;A lsquo;Zero-To-Herorsquo; collaborative approach ndash; by Dangarbheja Panchayat and Govindalayarsquo; is about thenbsp;successnbsp;story of collaboration between a panchayat and a Civil Society Organisation showing how together these institutions are uplifting and face-lifting social and economic conditions of farmers.

ldquo;This project is in line with our vision and commitment to make filmsdocumentaries based on Indian cultures traditions and inspirational storiesrdquo; Biswanath said.

ldquo;We came across this unique story of lsquo;Centre of Empowermentrsquo;rsquo; in Naqndahandi Block of Nabarangpur districtnbsp;modelednbsp;on Public-Private-Academia-Communityrsquo; Partnershiprsquo; PPACP. The story is so inspiring that we decided to shoot. By end of shoot wenbsp;realized it was not just the story which inspired usrdquo; he added.

The three-minute film has been submitted as an entry to the contest organised by the Panchayati Raj Ministry.
