Hollywood stars pay tribute to Manchester attack victims

Several Hollywood celebrities have paid tribute to victims of the terror attack at the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester that killed innocent lives. Some took to to Twitter to express grief and condoled the victims' families..

The attack that took place on Monday evening over 22 people dead and several others critically injured. Soon after the attack, Ariana took to social media to express her shock and pain. She wrote that she was “heartbroken” and absolutely has no words to comment.

“Broken. From the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don't have words,” Ariana wrote on Twitter.

Soon after her tweet, fellow singers Katty Perry, Harry Styles, Mariah Carey also expressed their sympathies on Twitter.

“Broken hearted for the families tonight. Broken hearted for Ari. Broken hearted for the state of this world,” Katty Perry tweeted.

Singer Nicki Minaj also tweeted, “"My heart hurts for my sister, Ariana & every family affected by this tragic event in the U.K.Innocent lives lost. I'm so sorry to hear this.”

Liam Gallagher, the former Oasis singer who had spent his heydays in Manchester, expressed that he was in a state of “shock”.

Pop diva Mariah Carey on Friday paid tribute to Martyn Hett, a popular online personality who died in the attacks.

The 47-year-old singer shared an emotional Instagram post along with a picture of Hett.

"Devastated to learn that one of the victims in Manchester was part of the #Lambily, Carey wrote.

"RIP Martyn Hett," she wrote and added: "We will cherish your memory forever. His family and all the families affected are in my thoughts and prayers."
