Singer Robbie Williams broke down in tears during his rendition of "Angels" after he discussed the Manchester terror attack on stage.

On the opening night of his own The Heavy Entertainment Show Tour at Manchester's Etihad Stadium on Friday, the 43-year-old dedicated the hit song to the victims and cried as he sang the tribute, reports dailymail.co.uk.

In a clip, he was seen gasping for breath during the song, amid reports he will be teaming up with former Take That bandmate for a surprise performance at the Ariana Grande benefit concert on Sunday in memory of the 22 victims of Manchester Arena terror attack.
