Veerey Ki Wedding, which stars Pulkit Samrat, Jimmy Shergill, Kriti Kharbanda, Yuvika Choudhary and Satish Kaushik, is in trouble.
Haryanvi singer Vikas Kumar, on Monday, sent a legal notice to the makers, alleging that the song Hatt Ja Tau was originally sung by him and the song has been featured in the film without his permission.
The singer’s lawyer has stated that the makers of the film cannot use the song without his permission and will have to pay him Rs 7 crore and an apology. A formal complaint has already been sent to CBFC chief from the singer’s side.

Bigg Boss 11’s Sapna Choudhary, who appears in Hatt Ja Tau, has sung the song with Sunidhi Chauhan.
Singer Sunidhi Chauhan shared the song on her Twitter handle and captioned it, “New Song Alert!! One of my favorites, Jaidev ji at his best.. had too much fun singing it Enjoy!”

The film is set to release on March 9, 2018.
