After shattering all box-office records, having a massive fan following and huge critical acclaim for its 2001 block buster, Zee Studios is back with the most-anticipated sequel of Gadar. Filled with nationalism, love and passion, ‘Gadar 2’ is all set to hit the big screens on 11 August.
Apart from having an impressive lineup of titles for 2023, Zee Studios is all set to continue their series of creating out-of-the-box cinema with the first poster release of Bollywood’s much-awaited sequel ‘Gadar 2’ in association with Anil Sharma.
Like in Gadar, Gadar too is starring Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma. Gadar’s all-time fans reflected their excitement over the sequel of Bollywood’s one of the most celebrated films.

Zee Studios and Anil Sharma dedicated the first poster of ‘Gadar 2’ featuring Sunny Deol to the people of India on the 74th Republic Day.
Sharing the first poster of Gadar 2 on his Instagram account, , Sunny Deol wrote, “Hindustan Zindabaad Hai….Zindabaad Tha.. .aur Zindabaad Rahega! This Independence Day, we bring to you the biggest sequel in Indian cinema after two decades.#Gadar2 releasing in Cinemas on 11th August 2023 #HappyRepublicDay.”
Sounds like Sunny Deol, who essayed Tara Singh’s character in the first part, will be assaying the same role again in Gadar 2. In the poster, a turbaned Sunny is seen in an all-black outfit, with a hammer in hand.
