Zingaat from Sairat became a sensation when it was released almost two years ago. Now a brand new version of the song is being shot with Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar for their upcoming film Dhadak.
The electrifying number from the film starring newcomers Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar will be remade in Hindi with Janhvi and Ishaan on board.
A source said, “Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan were both on the same page. They love Zingaat and the song will be something to watch out for.”

The source also revealed that choreographer-turned-filmmaker Farah Khan will choreograph the song.
Recently Choreographer Farah Khan shared a photo on her social media account, in which she is seen posing with Dhadak’s director Shashank Khaitan. “Night shoot!! #comingoutofretirement for @shashankkhaitan .. @dharmamovies@karanjohar,” she captioned it.
The team has already finished the first schedule of the film in Udaipur. The team is currently shooting at the suburban studio in the city.
Unlike the original, where the song was a freestyle dance number, the choreographer Farah will add some signature steps for the Hindi version.
Ishaan and Janhvi are terrific dancers and it will great to see them grove together on one platform.
The film is slated to release on July 20, 2018.
