Jammu and Kashmir: Army’s rescue operation in flood-hit Rajouri saves 11 civilians
Among the 11 rescued persons, five were children. They were stranded at different places in the flood-affected district following incessant rainfall.

Top separatists, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, and Yasin Malik on Wednesday called for the boycott of the 5-phased Lok Sabha elections that will begin on Thursday in Jammu and Kashmir.
They also called for shutdown during the first phase of polling in the Jammu and Baramulla constituencies.

The Mirwaiz is being questioned in Delhi by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in a terror funding case. Malik has been shifted to the Tihar Jail in Delhi for further questioning in the case.
