In the first-ever such mishap in Gulmarg, seven people, four of them tourists, were killed in a cable car (gandola) mishap at the famous ski-resort of Gulmarg in north Kashmir's Baramulla district.

Four of victims belonged to a family from Shalimar Bagh in Delhi. They have been identified as Jayant Andraskar, his wife Manshea Andraskar and their two daughters Anagha and Janhvi, he said. Three locals, believed to be tourist guides, were also killed, the police official said.
