In an encounter with the police a dreaded criminal having reward of Rs 25,000, who been arrested with his two aides at Harra crossing of Saroorpur area on Sunday night. The criminal and the cops in the encounter team sustained injuries during the exchange of fire.
While the criminal was injured with a bullet shot during the firing two constables sustained injuries of gun butt on their head followed by a scuffle with the criminals during their bid to get hold of them, told SSP Meerut, Manzil Saini.
The arrested criminal Zulfikar is. Resident of Village Khiwai and has a reward of Rs 25 thousand on his head . He was wanted by the police in many heinous cases of crime including loot and robberies.
