Cosmos gears up for Poila Boisakh

Siliguri’s first and popular shopping complex, Cosmos Mall, which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, is all set to offer its customers the Poila Boisakh treat.

The Bengali New Year celebrations at the mall, this time around, have already started with the complex beautifully decorated both inside and outside with a unique blend of ethnic and modern patterns.

The mall has also already started short-listing candidates/ contestants/participants of various events for the ‘Finale Event’ that will be held on the D-Day, according to the Assistant Manager, Marketing, Kamlesh Sahu.

While the short-listing and other preparations end tomorrow, the Finale Event will include fun-filled dance performances and folk singing by well known singer Tapan Pandit and ‘Family Antakshari’ hosted by Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Finalist Madhurima, followed by a showstopping performance.

“Also, with the launch of the spring-summer collections, 500 silver coins will be bid upon shopping value. Customers will be given assured silver coins on a basket value of 5000 and Above, while the offer lasts till stock last and terms and conditions will apply,” Mall officials said.

The other attractions during the Poila Boisakh celebrations include street rangoli, food festival, and a handicraft bazaar. Cosmos Mall is the prime downtown shopping centre of Siliguri, offering a lively mix of fashion brands, home fashion, entertainment and food.

Running successfully for the last 10 years, the centre attracts a huge customer base both from the city and the neighboring areas of the region.
