Bhopal office gets another hoax bomb threat
The Weights and Measures Department office in Bhopal received another bomb threat via email for the second consecutive day on Tuesday.
Several institutions, including Delhi Public School (DPS) Dwarka, Krishna Model Public School, and Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, received threats.

Fear gripped Delhi after several schools received bomb threats via phone calls on Saturday morning, leading to immediate evacuations and extensive security inspections, police said.
Several institutions, including Delhi Public School (DPS) Dwarka, Krishna Model Public School, and Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, received threats. In response, police teams and bomb disposal squads were dispatched to the locations, and search operations are currently in progress.

At DPS Dwarka, the school administration declared the day closed due to “unavoidable circumstances.” As a result, the midterm examinations that were scheduled for Saturday have been postponed.

In a circular issued to parents, the school said, “Dear Parents, Kindly note that the school will remain closed today, i.e., Saturday, 20 September 2025, due to unavoidable circumstances. All school buses and private vans/cabs are being sent back immediately.
Parents are requested to kindly be there at the stops to pick up their wards. Parents of private commuters must come to pick up their wards in case they have dropped them at school. Mid-term exams scheduled for the day stand postponed. Fresh dates will be announced shortly.”
Police officials confirmed that all students and staff from the impacted schools were safely evacuated.
