Rs 49 crore cannabis seized, 529 drug traffickers held in 3 months: Odisha police
This seizure figure and the arrest of traffickers did not include the recovery and arrest made by the Odisha Excise Department.
An alleged drug peddler from Bihar was arrested here for possessing five kg of cannabis, police said on Tuesday.
The man was intercepted near the Jammu railway station last evening during a special drive against drugs, a police officer said.
The police recovered five kg of cannabis from his possession.

A case has been registered at the Bahu Fort Police Station and further investigation is underway, the official said.
