A placement drive held at Surya Sen Mahavidyalaya on Wednesday resulted in 456 job offers, with 610 students participating out of 1,021 registered candidates.
The placement drive was jointly organised by the college’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Students’ Support Service/Placement Cell & Progression Committee (SSSPPC), Skill Development Cell and Alumni Association, in collaboration with the Anudip Foundation for Social Welfare.

A total of 19 companies participated, offering employment opportunities across sectors such as sales, customer service, finance, manufacturing and frontline operations. Recruiters conducted on-the-spot interviews and selections for entry-level positions, including direct joining and trainee roles.

Major recruiters included Devyani International Ltd, Arohan Financial Services, MRF Limited, Bandhan Bank, L&T Finance Limited, Randstad, Fusion CX, Annapurna Finance, GD Goenka Healthcare Academy, Akasa Finance, Asirvad Microfinance, Spandana Sphoorty Financial Limited, Bharat Finance Inclusion Ltd, Future Z, and Renaissance Kitchen & Home Solutions.
