In the session, the students, faculty and staff members were sensitised about the importance of yoga and the collective Yoga experience – with hundreds of people in the same movement, the same respiration, at the same time and in the same rhythm.
Everyone appreciated the session and pledged to make yoga an integral part of life.
Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Devender Yadav on Sunday extended greetings on the occasion of International Yoga Day and said that while yoga is an invaluable part of India's cultural heritage, the condition of several parks in the national capital raises concerns over public amenities and maintenance.
The celebration in the historic ambience of Purana Qila beautifully reflected the harmony between India’s rich cultural heritage and the timeless tradition of yoga.
