The pre-judging of the participating vehicles to check their road-worthiness and originality among other parameters began on 21 February and continued till 4 pm 22 February at Modern School, Barakhamba Road.
The fair is not just restricted to sale of artifacts or to introduce one to the real artists and craftsmen here one can see cultures through art.
Music, culture and festivities pervade each and every corner of the mela and the visitors and tourists are witnessing one of the best celebrations of art and craft in the world.
Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, an English architect, in 1917 during British rule, the Mughal Gardens at the backyard of the sprawling main building of Rashtrapati Bhavan is one of the most beautiful gardens of the world and is open for public viewing from 5 February.

The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar are given under the revamped award scheme of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India.
Under this, 200 poor and needy boys and girls were provided with a school bag (with a beautiful coloured picture of Swami Vivekananda and a message printed on them), note-books, pen, an alarm-clock and a 500 ml thermos-flask.
Every year the Archbishop of Delhi and other dignitaries join the celebration.
In the current edition, the annual competition saw over 60,000 submissions from 544 districts of all the states and Union Territories of India.
