Known for smooth, moody hits like ‘Excuses’, ‘Summer High’ and ‘Brown Munde’, AP Dhillon has surprised fans by stepping into a new sound space.

From Instagram tease to fan demands

Interestingly, ‘Raatan Lambiyaan’ was not sudden drop. AP had teased the track months ago during an Instagram Live session.

Fans quickly caught on and started asking for the full version almost every day.

Talking about the release, AP Dhillon shared that the song gave him a chance to explore the “raw energy of rock.” He said fans kept messaging him after the teaser, pushing him to finally release it.

According to him, the idea was to create something powerful and different from his usual work.

Fresh after a massive sold-out tour

The release comes right after AP Dhillon wrapped up his One of One Tour, which was completely sold out. The tour saw him performing in front of huge crowds across cities.

In Delhi alone, nearly 20,000 fans turned up to watch him perform live.

AP Dhillon has slowly but surely built a global image. He blends hip-hop, pop and now rock, without losing his Punjabi identity. In 2023, he made history by becoming first Punjabi-language artist to perform at Juno Awards in Canada.

With over two billion streams worldwide, his influence continues to grow.
