The fashion world is buzzing again because Miranda Priestly is so back! The first teaser for ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ has dropped, and fans of the 2006 classic can’t stop talking about it. In just 52 seconds, Meryl Streep reminds everyone why she’s the boss of Runway magazine.
The clip opens with Streep’s Miranda Priestly walking through the glossy halls of Runway in her signature red stilettos. Her every step echoes authority. Then as the elevator doors close, a familiar face joins her. It’s Anne Hathaway’s Andy Sachs. Miranda shoots her a piercing look and says, “Took you long enough.” Andy just smiles and puts on her black sunglasses.

The sequel picks up years after the original story. The world of print journalism is fading fast and Miranda is struggling to keep her empire relevant. She soon finds herself clashing with her former assistant, Emily Charlton (played by Emily Blunt), who has risen to power as a top executive at a global luxury brand.

The twist? Emily controls the advertising money that Miranda desperately needs to keep Runway alive. It’s mentor versus protégé, ambition versus survival, and glamour versus the digital age.
The first film followed Andrea “Andy” Sachs, a young journalist who landed a dream job as Miranda’s assistant at Runway Magazine, a job “a million girls would kill for.”
But the deeper she went into that glittering world, the more she lost touch with her friends, her boyfriend, and even herself. The film became a huge hit, earning over $326 million worldwide and turning its cast into icons of fashion cinema.

However, fans of Nate (played by Adrian Grenier) may be disappointed. He won’t be returning for the sequel.
