It's official now, the Trinamul Congress (TMC) party has split, with the majority of 59 out of 80 MLAs opting out of the party founded and led by Mamata Banerjee.

Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee on Tuesday issued a heartfelt appeal to the public to contribute to the West Bengal State Disaster Management Authority (WBSDMA) fund, following the devastating floods and landslides that have affected the northern districts of West Bengal.
“In these testing times, every act of kindness matters. I appeal to all to come forward and generously contribute to stand beside those who have lost so much in this man-made tragedy,” Banerjee said in a post on his WhatsApp channel.

The disaster has resulted in significant loss of lives, livelihoods, and property, with many communities severely impacted. The West Bengal government has launched a relief effort, but it requires public support to effectively reach and support those affected.
