Delhi Congress President Devender Yadav on Friday led a campaign with the Karawal Nagar and Tilak Nagar committees of the party’s state unit against alleged vote theft by the BJP in collusion with the poll panel.

Yadav claimed that people are supporting the campaign against the alleged vote theft to boost the morale of the Congress workers. The party workers, he said, went door-to-door during the campaign discuss with the public about the alleged conspiracy.

Office-bearers and workers of frontal Congress organizations, Youth Congress, Mahila Congress, Seva Dal and NSUI, cells and departments also joined the campaign, the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee said in a statement.

Apart from the DPCC chief, party’s district presidents, Aadesh Bhardwaj, and Dharampal Chandela, former MLA Bhisham Sharma, observers CP Mittal, and several other office bearers took part in the drive.

Yadav said Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi exposed the conspiracy behind the alleged vote theft before the country and a signature campaign was initiated to make people aware of what was happening in the country.

The Delhi Congress claimed immense response from the public to the ongoing drive started by the Congress.
