Soldier goes missing during river crossing training in J&K
The White Knight Corps wrote on X: “During a river crossing training exercise conducted in the general area of Sundarbani, Sepoy Akshit Sharma was reported missing at around 12 pm today”.

A BSF officer was injured on Thursday evening in a sniper fire by Pakistan troops at an Indian position in the Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district.
The injured officer has been identified as Assistant Sub-Inspector SK Mishra of BSF’s 126 batallion.

Reports said the Pakistani troops targeted the BSF officer from across the LOC. The injured officer has been shifted to hospital and further details were awaited.

Meanwhile, a terrorist was killed in the Kiloora area of Shopian district in south Kashmir in an encounter in the evening.
Army spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia said the operation by security forces was continuing. Two terrorists were killed earlier during the day in north Kashmir.
