Indian, Pakistani troops trade heavy fire on LoC

Pakistan Army again violated the ceasefire on Thursday evening, triggering a heavy exchange of fire with Indian troops along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district.

Indian positions retaliated strongly and effectively. The fighting took place in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district, as per Police officials.

Pakistan Army initiated indiscriminate firing and shelling on military and civilian positions by using automatics, small arms and mortars. Heavy firing exchanges are still going on,” a police officer said.
