Indian film returns to Cannes spotlight after 30 years
After three decades, an Indian film, 'All We Imagine As Light' by Payal Kapadia, shines at Cannes, marking a triumphant return for Indian cinema to the prestigious festival.
Actress Chloe Grace Moretz has apologised following the public backlash of a billboard for her upcoming film Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs that was accused of body shaming.
The 20-year-old actress, in a series of tweets, said she has talked to the film's producers about the marketing choices, including the billboard that appeared last week at the Cannes Film Festival, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The ad depicted a tall, thin woman in red heels standing next to a a shorter, heavier version of herself, accompanied by the tagline, "What if Snow White was no longer beautiful and the 7 Dwarfs not so short?"

"I have now fully reviewed the marketing for Red Shoes, I am just as appalled and angry as everyone else, this wasn't approved by me or my team," Moretz, who voices the female lead in the movie, wrote.
"Please know I have let the producers of the film know. I lent my voice to a beautiful script that I hope you will all see in its entirety."
Moretz clarified, that "the actual story is powerful for young women and resonated with me. I am sorry for the offense that was beyond my creative control."
The Red Shoes Cannes campaign sparked online criticism, with model Tess Holliday among those slamming the message.
"How did this get approved by an entire marketing team? Why is it okay to tell young kids being fat = ugly?" she tweeted.
