Former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa will be Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming state assembly polls, party chief Amit Shah announced on Friday.
Karnataka, which is currently headed by Congress’ K Siddaramaiah, will go for elections in May 2018.
“It (Karnataka election) will be fought under Yeddyurappa,” Shah said to a news agency.
