BJP and NDA anticipate strong lead in UP’s second phase of LS polls: BJP
From the NDA, seven BJP candidates and one RLD candidate are contesting on these seats.
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) would be conducting counselling for Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) 2017 from 19 June. The UPSEE 2017 counselling process, which includes document verification followed by choice filling and seat allotment, will be conducted in five rounds. The first round of online counselling registration process will end on 24 June.
Candidates who have qualified for UPSEE 2017 counselling have to register online on www.upsee.nic.in. Starting 2017-18, the document verification for UPSEE counseling 2017 would be conducted online.
Document verification will start from 20 June and end on 25 June. Seat allotment, which will start on 29 June and end on 2 July would be determined on the basis of the candidate’s rank in the merit list.

UPSEE 2017 was conducted on 16 April for admission to approximately 1.5 lakh undergraduate engineering programmes across Uttar Pradesh. According to reports, nearly 2 lakh students appear for the exam every year.
