DU closes online process for merit-based UG programmes

The online registration process for the merit-based undergraduate programmes of Delhi University has closed.

The online registrations process was extended by a day to facilitate applicants who might not have been able to register.

Close to 1,40,619 applicants have applied for the B.A programme which is the highest number of applicants for any course, followed by 1,28,842 applicants for B.A (Hons) English which emerged as the second most sought out course among applicants. Among the total number of students who applied 2,43,078 have their result status as passed while results of 4,079 applicants are awaited while 1,697 have compartments.

The maximum applicants are from CBSE board with figure of 1,94,004  followed by UP Board of High School & Intermediate Education at 17,918 applicants. The maximum 1,24,626 applicants are from Delhi followed by UP and Haryana having UP with 64,557 and 39,870 applicants respectively.

In Extra-Curricular Activity (ECA) quota maximum applicants are under NCC (3,281) followed by Dance (2,797) and then debate category. Under Sports category football category has maximum applicants followed by basketball and volleyball.
