An 11-foot long gator was found enjoying a swim in the swimming pool of a couple’s home in Florida. The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, last week, received a late night 911 call from a family in Nokomis about the alligator in their pool.

It was reported that the animal broke through a screen to make its way to the pool.

Patricia Carver’s husband sensed commotion outside their house and spotted the gator.

“The 11-foot intruder didn’t gracefully make his way through an open door,” the Sarasota Sheriff’s office tweeted. “He decided instead, to bust right through the screen.”

The images of the giant alligator in the pool were posted on Twitter by the cops. The rescue operation was carried out to catch the gator and go one got injured in the process.

The alligator was removed by a professional trapper from the pool.

The video of the alligator spread like fire on social media.

Last month also, a 6-foot-long alligator was found at the bottom of an underground pool. The officials of the fire department had then called a trapper to rescue the reptile out of the pool.
