Amid reports that US President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin were set to meet in Budapest to discuss the potential end of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, there is indication that the potential meeting may not happen.
President Trump reacted to the reports, stating that he doesn’t want a “wasted meeting.”

“I don’t want to have a wasted meeting,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office when asked about the ‘shelved’ meeting with Putin.

“I don’t want to waste time, so I’ll see what happens,” he added.
“No plans,” said the White House on Tuesday responding to queries linked to the highly-anticipated meeting between Trump and Putin.
