Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) today announced the launch of the 37th wave of attacks under its ongoing retaliatory campaign, Operation True Promise 4, targeting sensitive and strategic American and Israeli sites across the region.
In a statement, the IRGC said the latest phase of the operation lasted more than three hours and involved continuous, multi-layered missile strikes, including the deployment of some of Iran’s heaviest missile systems.

The IRGC claimed that the strikes were carried out using several advanced Iranian ballistic missile systems, including the Kheibar Shekan missile, Qadr missile, and Khorramshahr missile.
Iran launched Operation True Promise 4 after the United States and Israel carried out strikes targeting sites linked to Iran’s ruling establishment.
Since then, Iran has fired hundreds of missiles and drones across the region, including multiple barrages directed at Israel, marking one of the most intense exchanges between the two sides in recent years.
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said that nearly half of the roughly 300 ballistic missiles launched by Iran toward Israel were equipped with cluster bomb warheads.
Cluster bomb warheads disperse dozens of sub munitions over a wide area, sometimes covering up to a 10-kilometre radius. Their use is banned under the Convention on Cluster Munitions adopted in 2008. However, Israel, Iran, and the United States are not signatories to the treaty.
