Calling the resignation a victory for protesting students, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke argued that sustained public pressure can compel political accountability. He also urged people not to fear the government while pursuing their demands.
The Rohtak gathering also debated dowry, live-in relationships, same-gotra marriages and post-funeral feasts, with organisers describing the initiative as a wider campaign to preserve Haryana's social and cultural values.
The FIR alleges the accused officer used explicit videos to threaten the complainant over several months, while investigators are also examining allegations against his mother for allegedly attempting to suppress the complaint.
Authorities were immediately informed and a police team arrived at the scene. The body was brought down and sent for postmortem examination.
