A leakage of poisonous gas killed nine people at an iron and steel plant in Liupanshui city in China’s Guizhou province, authorities said on Thursday.
The accident occurred on Wednesday evening when workers were conducting an overhaul of the generator boiler at the Shougang Shuicheng Iron and Steel Co Ltd, Xinhua news agency reported.
