A rosy road? Is there a road ahead? Perhaps, you know what lies in your path… What lies ahead, you think you know, but nobody knows.

As you journey on to a place, you may tread on green pastures or a path strewn with flowers and golden leaves, or trample on brown twigs. Your path, sometimes, may be filled with muddy puddles, pebbles and stones and the climb too steep. Probably, you could stumble and fall or hurtle deep down!

Whichever road you take, the choice is yours

You may choose to travel long distance or enjoy a quick stopover. You may hit a crossroad as you travel, but you still have a choice. There are turns. Whichever turn you choose to take becomes your path and you have to journey on, come rain or shine.

Yes, the path you take becomes the journey of your life

And as you journey on, what you see is what you get. Wherever you pass through, wherever you are docked, you are amidst plenty. There are shady trees, evergreen groves, absolute blue sky in the horizon and dark rolls of clouds ahead. Sometimes, you are roller-coasting on lush meadows or fields of gold. At times, you are cruising and all you see is the deep blue sea.

Sometimes, there is just the wide expanse of nothingness

For miles and miles, you travel. You have been on the road for days and nights. Yet, you see nothing around. Nothing beyond. You just have to keep moving on, for there is a road, the road ahead.

The mind-sweeping, long straight road can be bumpy at times. Maybe, the uphill and the long and winding road has more to offer. You also learn to bend around the corner and the curves. And Sometimes, the rugged road makes you jump and leap forward or let you rest awhile.

But you still don’t know what lies ahead. You don’t don’t know what’s beyond the curve, yet you wheel around with confidence, assuming there’s a road ahead. And there is a road ahead, always. A rosy road, perhaps.
