Realme has been taking the budget smartphone segment by storm this year. It has been launching new phones with standout features that put it ahead of the competition. The Realme XT is the latest example of that and Realme has already announced that a more powerful variant with the Snapdragon 730G chipset is about to come in India later this year.

The company’s Chief Product Officer Dereck Wang has confirmed on the Chinese social portals that a Realme X2 Pro is under works, it will be a more powerful version of the Realme X2 that was launched in China last week. In fact, the Realme X2 Pro will belong to flagship category phones as it will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset.

Realme X2 Pro will also have a display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. This was previously confirmed as well after OnePlus announced the 90Hz display for the OnePlus 7T. The Realme X2 Pro will be the cheapest phone with a 90Hz refresh rate screen, undercutting the OnePlus 7T. Realme X2 Pro will essentially be a cheaper version of the OnePlus 7T. Realme could add its own features such as the 64-megapixel quad-camera setup from the Realme XT as well as an even faster charging system. There are chances that Realme could also debut its Realme OS with the Realme X2 Pro.
