After successful events in California, Beijing, Berlin, Moscow and Paris, AppsFlyer’s Mobile Attribution and Marketing Analytics (MAMA) conference touched down in the Capital on 7 March.

The conference brought together some of the industry’s biggest players and thought leaders, including executives from Google and Facebook in India, to discuss the latest opportunities, challenges and trends shaping the future of marketing in India’s mobile-first business ecosystem.

The conference was centred on three concepts that will help marketers excel at their jobs ~ education, localisation and networking.

“The MAMA event series is a passion project of ours that represents one of many steps we’re taking to create more awareness around the ways marketers are winning in today’s app economy,” said Oren Kaniel, CEO and co-founder of AppsFlyer.

India is the world’s fastest growing mobile market, faster than even China, with the country now accounting for a massive 10 per cent of global smartphone shipments.

When it comes to apps, India is a booming app economy, and has just surpassed the US to become the top country in the world in terms of the number of non-organic installs.

As the market matures, the right education, technologies and data-driven approaches are more important than ever for businesses to gain a competitive advantage.

Therefore, the one-day event held in the Capital saw experts sharing insights on how marketers and businesses, ranging from retailers, gaming, travel and other industries, can harness data to tap the world’s next billion smartphone users in India. It also touched important issues such as rising ad fraud and how to combat it.

AppsFlyer’s technology is found on 98 per cent of the world’s smartphones, data-driven marketers rely on AppsFlyer for independent measurement solutions and innovative tools to grow and protect their mobile business.
