Acting on the Chief Minister’s directives, the Food Safety and Drug Administration (FSDA) has launched a large-scale operation targeting the unlawful storage, sale, and distribution of codeine-based cough syrups and narcotic drugs.
He alleged that, "Chants of 'Jai Shri Ram' and 'Jai Bajrangbali' have now been used as tools to vandalize Muslim homes and mosques. Today, people of one religion have resorted to terrorist activities."
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Akhilesh Yadav said, "Such statements are issued just to create terror in the society and to cover up the illegal activities of the government and corruption."
"Everyone must be wary of the BJP. In Uttar Pradesh, the administration is in collusion with criminals. Law and order, health, and education are in shambles. Caste-based oppression and discrimination are rampant under the BJP government," he alleged.
Alongside these, folk arts and dances from various states will further enhance the splendor of this grand festival of lights.

He said the new Society Registration Act will introduce contemporary provisions to strengthen registration, renewal, property management, and financial transparency of registered institutions.
Speaking at a press conference at the UP Congress headquarters on Wednesday, Rai claimed that the government is trying to cover up its failure to generate employment by creating such "misleading and chaotic" events.
Taking this mission forward, under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission (UPSRLM) will organize the DEWEE (Decentralized Energy for Women’s Economic Empowerment) program on Wednesday.
“In Yogi’s regime, not only Congress workers but journalists and social activists are being harassed with false cases simply for speaking the truth or opposing government policies,” said Ajay Rai, addressing a press conference here at the state Congress headquarters.
