"The focus of the negotiations is on ending the war, and at this stage we are not discussing nuclear issues," the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

In its response, Iran has reportedly insisted that the talks should focus on efforts to end the war and the issue of Tehran's nuclear program should be discussed at later stages of the talks.
His post came amid reports of Iran sending a fresh proposal to the US through Pakistan, proposing reopening the Strait of Hormuz as the basis of ending the war.
Iran has said that implementation of ceasefire in Lebanon and release of frozen Iranian assets were the mutually agreed ceasefire conditions and that they must be fulfilled before the start of negotiations.
