These accused were believed to be planning attacks on vital installations, security establishments as well as police personnel in Delhi and other cities.
The arrested accused has been identified as Pravin Kumar alias Tiddu, who is said to be the close associate of dreaded gangster Rohit Choudhary.
The disclosures surfaced during the interrogation of nine suspects arrested by the Delhi Police Special Cell as part of its ongoing “Gang Bust Operation 2.0,” officials said on Friday.
According to the Special Cell, one of the accused had conducted a reconnaissance visit to the Red Fort in December 2025. He had shared a photograph of the monument with a black flag atop it, using the image to incite and influence others online. Police said this activity has strengthened the suspected link between the group and the earlier attack.
Delhi Police came into action after the CISF alerted it about anti-national posters pasted on pillars at the Kashmiri Gate Metro station and some nearby metro stations in the national capital on 07 February.
DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav said the terror module was being operated by Germany-based Gurpreet Singh AKA Goldy Dhillon, a close associate of Goldy Brar-Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
