According to the ECI official data, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) candidate V S Babu was ahead in Kolathur with 4,130 votes.
The AIADMK-BJP alliance was ahead in 59 seats, and the MK Stalin-led DMK and allies slipped to third position with leads in just 54 seats.
Tamil Nadu Assemby Elections Results 2026: The DMK and allies have taken the lead in over 60 seats, followed by Vijay's TVK, which was ahead in 34 seats. The BJP-AIADMK alliance was distant third with its candidates leading in 13 seats.
