The leader of the opposition in West Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari on Tuesday filed a petition at the Calcutta High Court demanding a CBI probe in the poll-related violence during the panchayat elections.
The outcome on the Motion on Breach of Privilege against Suvendu Adhikari will be tabled in the next session of the Assembly, when it would assemble, claimed the Speaker, while conceding that the motion had already been sent to the privilege committee
