While the Congress, AAP’s on-and-off ally in the INDIA bloc, alleged a BJP hand behind the acquittal, the saffron party maintained that the lower court’s ruling was not the end of Kejriwal’s troubles, saying "the legal battle is far from over".
“The government is committed to ensuring justice for all,” BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi told media persons on a question regarding the regulation.
He also questioned the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, asking whether the Constitution was not in danger when an Act of Parliament was being openly defied by State Assemblies.

Speaking to the media at the party's state headquarters here, Trivedi said, "Unlike the INDI block, the NDA has resolved all poll-related issues and is confident about its poll prospects."
"This is not the first time he (Rahul Gandhi) has done so, as he (Rahul Gandhi) has a long history of statements that tarnish India’s image abroad," Dr. Trivedi said
