Meanwhile, Lavrov specifically flagged risks to Russian personnel stationed at the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, warning that United States and Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear infrastructure could trigger catastrophic environmental consequences across the entire region.
The external affairs minister met Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow on Monday and held discussions on the bilateral partnership between the two nations, encompassing trade and people-to-people exchanges.

Lavrov said the visit is expected to happen in December and will focus on a wide-ranging bilateral agenda.

The two leaders focusing on Syria, Libya as well as on renewed bilateral cooperation amid the global COVID-19 pandemic.
The Iranian foreign minister's visit to Turkey and Russia would be his second diplomatic trip after a recent decline in the pace of COVID-19 increase.
Delcy Rodriguez, the Vice President of Venezuela, said that this year, the governments of Russia and Venezuela would celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations.
"India and Brazil should absolutely be at the UNSC. Developing countries should be given adequate representation there,” Russia Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, observing that developed countries have not paid heed to the demands of developing countries.
