The vice-chancellor said, "As per Manusmriti women are Scheduled Caste. In such a situation a woman cannot say that she belongs to Brahmin or other community."

The last date for the submission of the application form is August 16, 2018.
This is expected to be the last list for general category students. An eighth cut-off list is expected but only for SC/ST students.
The preamble of the amendment says that the decision to arrest or not to arrest cannot be taken away from the investigating officer
