The former Deputy Chief Minister also alleged that the promises made by the BJP in the last ten years "have not been fulfilled."
Sachin Pilot has been made AICC in-charge of Chhattisgarh.
After the suspension of 143 MPs from Parliament, Congress leader Sachin Pilot hit out at the BJP and asked if the opposition did not have the right to put forward its view.
Lokesh Sharma said that when Pilot took 18 MLAs to Manesar, his phones were put on surveillance.
Eight sitting MPs, seven from the BJP and one from the RLP, are trying their luck in the assembly elections.
Pilot and Sara, daughter of Farooq Abdullah, married in 2004. However, their divorce had not come into the public domain.
Pilot reached his constituency, Tonk and offered prayers at Sri Manshapurn Bhuteshwar Mahadev temple before taking out a road show in an open jeep up to the Returning Office
The Congress leader said that it has become a habit of the BJP to use government agencies as a weapon and tool “to target, harass and intimidate Opposition leaders”.
Among the prominent candidates figured in the list are Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Assembly Speaker CP Joshi and former deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot.
