Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) President Rajesh Ram on Friday launched a special digital drive titled the “Srijan Saathi Public Outreach Campaign” aimed at strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level while making it more transparent and accountable.
The action was taken by the Bihar State Congress Disciplinary Committee on charges of repeatedly making statements against the party’s core principles, discipline, and organisational decorum, and for issuing undesirable and misleading remarks.
The rally is being organised to highlight concerns related to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls across the country.
Earlier in Delhi, senior Congress leaders had held a review meeting with Bihar Congress leaders, newly-elected MLAs and candidates to assess the election results and organisational setbacks.
Bihar Congress chief Rajesh Ram has inherited politics. His father, Dilkeshwar Ram, is known as a giant figure in politics.
