"Weight reducing or anti-obesity drugs, currently available, ought to be used very judiciously," the Minister said while addressing the inaugural session of the 2-day "Asia Oceania Conference on Obesity" (AOCO).
Union Labour Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Thursday emphasized the importance of preventive and promotive healthcare in building a healthy and fit India.
"We firmly believe that prevention is better than cure, and through various awareness campaigns and health education programmes, we are encouraging our citizens to adopt healthier habits and make wellness a way of life," said Pramod Sawant.
