"The way Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the CMs of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh should take care of the law and order situation in their state, it has hurt the sentiments of Rajasthan," Gehlot said.
Union Environment Minister, Bhupendra Yadav was appointed as Madhya Pradesh election in-charge and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw as co-incharge of the state.
A circular in this regard had been issued by Congress General Secretary, organisation, K.C. Venugopal to all states and union territories which says, "The PCCs are requested to conduct mass awareness and contact programme from November 14 to 29."
HP Congress chief Kuldeep Singh Rathore said the Union Budget presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had focused only on poll bound states to gain political mileage in the upcoming assembly elections.
