The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) on Thursday staged a protest outside the residence of BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, accusing him of making derogatory remarks against Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi.

NSUI’s Raunak Khatri defeated his rival ABVP’s Rishabh Chaudhary by a margin of 1,339 votes as Kahtri got 20,207 votes while Chaudhary could only manage 18,868, according to official sources.

During the demonstration, NSUI workers demanded an urgent address to the need for fair and equitable opportunities in the education system, specifically highlighting the concerns of students affected by the controversies in the NEET exam.
Reacting to the video, BJP spokesperson Pankaj Chaturvedi said that the lies of the Congress have been exposed.
The NSUI organized the protest, and Jitu Patwari along with many other senior Congress leaders and MLAs also took part in it.
The NTA, in its complaint, alleged that Choudhary, along with 40 other people, stormed into its office and disrupted the work shouting “NTA ko band karo” slogans.
The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has initiated its membership campaign in various Delhi University colleges, according to a press release from the ABVP.
