Maharashtra Minister Nitesh Rane on Sunday participated in a grand Ram Navami procession held in Oshiwara, Andheri, and made remarks comparing the observance of different religious festivals while reacting to incidents reported during the celebrations.
Speaking to media persons, Nitesh Rane said there has been a long-standing demand in Maharashtra for such a law to prevent religious conversions from several Hindutva organisations and activists who have been campaigning for several years for such a law.
Speaking at an event in Maharashtra's Pune on Wednesday, Rane also claimed that the actor was dancing when he came out of the hospital.
